Do any of the Sims 2 games have an install limit like Spore does?

Along with the above question, I'd also like to know about any DRM/SecuRom problems that come with any specific expansion packs.

I'm sure your answers will be very helpful. ^^;Do any of the Sims 2 games have an install limit like Spore does?
Regarding installation limits, the first person is correct. There are no installation limits on any of the Sims 2 games.

As far as Securom is concerned, the patches do not "fix" the problems caused by Securom. EA started putting Securom on every one of their games sometime in April 2007. The last Sims 2 game that EA released that did not have Securom on it was the Celebrations stuff pack. Every game they released after that had it on it, including The Sims 2 Deluxe, The Sims 2 Double Deluxe, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life, H%26amp;M Fashion, Teen Style Stuff, Kitchen %26amp; Bath Stuff, Ikea Home Stuff and Mansions %26amp; Gardens.

If you would like to read about some of the problems that other people have experienced because of Securom getting installed on their computer than you should read some of the stories that are on this website:

That website also explains how to get it back off your computer again if you have installed a game that has Securom on it and it's messed up your computer. But EA will NOT help you get it off. Although because of all the lawsuits against them because of it, they have stated that they do not plan to put it on their Sims 3 games. I, personally, don't believe them. Or, if they really don't put it on the sims 3 games, then they will put something even worse on them instead.Do any of the Sims 2 games have an install limit like Spore does?
Nope, there's no install limit on the Sims 2 games.

I don't know about any specific problems, but the official patches from EA should cover most of them. Pets is particularly buggy, I think, but the patches fix it.Do any of the Sims 2 games have an install limit like Spore does?
Well, I can't explain the expansion pack problems but no, none of the Sims 2 games have an install limit on them.

It's a new thing Maxis have so that you can't just load the game and pass it round to all of your friends seeing as you don't need the disc in to play.
