well spore creature creator is just a bit, a part from SPORE itself, the purpose of this creature creator was that user created creatures would be available to populate the spore galaxy when the game is out in september :), the creature editor was released as a demo also :) because people got overexcited about the game and wanted to try for themselves how it is like to create a spore creature so EA decided to launch this as a demo. in the spore game you will find this as "creature editor" :)SPORE creature creator?
