Is Spore a good game?

My best friend really likes videogames. Especially ones by Maxis. She has all Maxis games (and expansions) since the first Sim City. lol. She's so weird sometimes. But anyway, the only one she didnt get yet is Spore because she's not sure whether to buy it or not. I want to get it for her as an Xmas gift, but I dunno if I should buy it.Is Spore a good game?
Spore itself is a fun toy, not much of a game, but it's fun.



The game play isn't long enough. Stages can take from 10 minutes (cell stage) to about an hour(creature, tribal, and colony) with the exception of the space stage which is repetitive after a certain point.



If your friend is interested in the designing of the creatures, vehicles,building, etc... then your friend will love this game.



Also because EA bought out Maxis they will release an expansion every few months and they also have other side adventure games for console systems.
In my opinion, you should only buy SPORE鈩?for her if she would like to create a fantasy animal, and grow it, and then, build up her animals' city, and make them a hyper modern civilisation. I like that game, and it's only a few 鈧瑄ros. I exhort you to buy it :) (Even for yourself)Is Spore a good game?

spore is mostly only good for the computer
I think you should get it. If your friend likes the sims she'll get a kick out of Spore. It's been rated very high and all my friends love it.



Plus it's about 10$$$!Is Spore a good game?
Personally I don't think it looks that good but i LOVE the sims so im not sure
