It is a expansion pack that adds a huge amount so it does kind of act like it's own game.
Basely you need Spore to play Galactic Adventures and at the menu it adds "Galactic Adventures" where the new adventure stuff take place.
I think you can make and play adventures in the main game too.Is Spore Galactic Adventure an expansion or a separate game?
